5 years ago, I purchased my first Nikon DSLR and it’s been my passion ever since. Although I show my work at various galleries and have had my photos published in both local and national magazines, I do not consider myself a professional.

To turn my hobby into a profession would be to lose the love I have for it. So when asked, I simply say that I’m just a girl with a camera trying to show the world the beauty that surrounds us and often goes unnoticed. Something as simple as a leaf silhouetted against a sunbeam or a feather caught in some weeds.

What I Like (AKA what I fave or go OOOO over):
-Nature
-Landscapes
-Waterscapes
-Macros (true macros not cropped close ups)
-B&W candids or street shots of people
-Nightshots (I'm a sucker for a lit up city)
-Vibrant colors
-Great composition & photos that convey an emotion.

What I Dislike:
-HDR
-Over processing of photos
-Overuse of filters or in camera "tricks"
-Blood, carcasses, etc (no more shots of dead birds!)
-Snap shots (this is not My Space or Facebook!)
